Harzer-Hexen-Stieg (The Harz witches trail)

The "Harzer-Hexen-Stieg" is a joint project of the Harz Tourist Association e.V. and Harz Club e.V.

With a total length of 97 km, it crosses the Harz from West to East and is a continuous marked footpath with major national importance. It actively allows the hiker, to get to know the Harz and all its diversity.

The "Harzer-Hexen-Stieg" connects existing paths of the Harz Club hiking trails to an interesting multi-day hike. You can choose the daily distances, which you would like to cover. Discover the stunning scenery, a rich variety of flora and fauna as well as culture and history along the way, and get a deeper insight into the geological features and the story of the cultural landscape of the Harz.

In December 2007, the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg was honoured with the certificate "Quality Trail" by the German Hiking Association.

Meeting
